Simple, fast, yet more thorough than any other pregnancy wheel available for the iPhone, Perfect OB Tracker is better than just a replacement for your trusty paper wheel.

• Keep track of any number of pregnant patients with at-a-glance due date and gestational age
• Synchronize to all your iOS devices via iCloud (optional)
• Sort by name or due date
• Search by name or medical record number
• Keep notes on each patient
• Track postpartum, as well, noting delivery date, gender, and name
• Quick Calculator lets you use the OB wheel without having to enter patient data for one-off calculations

1) Start with one of:
• Last menstrual period (LMP)
• Conception date
• Estimated date of confinement/delivery (EDC)
• Ultrasound dating: Number of weeks and days gestation as of a given date ("X Weeks").

Enter dates quickly with the intelligent keypad (which knows when youre done typing the month, for example, and automatically moves to the day) or with the spinning date wheel.

2) Get thorough results: All the information you would expect from a classic wheel, plus more:
• Estimated Due Date
• LMP Date
• Conception Date
• 1st Trimester End Date
• 2nd Trimester End Date
• Gestational Age
• Conceptional Age
• Expected Fetal Length based on standard fetal growth curves
• Expected Fetal Weight based on standard fetal growth curves ("How much does my baby weigh, doctor?")

Results are relative to today by default; this can be quickly changed to reflect any date by tapping the today button and selecting a new date.

3) Accurate results: Perfect OB Wheel provides exact dates and accounts for all calendar variance, including leap years.

4) Secure: HIPAA complaint passcode locking keeps your patient information safe

Pros and cons of Perfect OB Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

Perfect OB Tracker app good for

This has worked extremely well so far (I have used Perfect Wheel for a few years and recently upgraded to the tracker). The notes field is handy. I do agree with the reviewer who mentioned that a phone number field would be useful (with the ability to tap it to dial). Since we do postpartum care as well as prenatal, I would really appreciate the ability to enter a delivery date and then track the clients postpartum age for 6-8 weeks.
I would like the option of keeping the name of a patient after delivery for a few months so I dont loose them on follow up.
Very easy to use, reliable. Ilove the picture. I take a picture of my clients and add it to their file. This feature is a plus compared to other similar app. This allows me to get to know my clients faster and gives me confidence to know who i am talking to, while on the phone. For me the add is missing the possibility to enter a phone number and directly dial from the app.

Some bad moments

I spend the time to input multiple patients - hoping this app will proof its worth when its time for the maternity visits. Unfortunately - every time I toggle between patients - the dates change - suddenly the patient is 14w, then 28w - there is no rhyme or reason. It happens to all the patients, the current date and due date keep changing. Worthless app to use in clinic. Waste of time and money.
An app that makes following my OB patients simple. Needs to sync with iPad thru the cloud.
Im a birth doula and placenta encapsulist and I love this app! It keeps me so organized. I actually bought the other app on the market that charges $15 and after being lied to from the creator about updates that never occurred I went ahead and bought this app :) I wish I could give it a 5* but since I have to delete my clients when Id prefer to just hit a "delivered" button, thats the only thing Id add :)
Great for residents to keep track of continuity deliveries. Do set a password!!! A more complicated password system would be a desirable feature for future update(s). Thanks!
Pretty simple to use. Good user interface. But without summaries or stats (eg how many patients due in any given month, total, gravida/parity status, delivery stats) it ends up being just a long list of names without much useful data beyond an EDD. Hope to see these capabilities soon.
I really like how easy to use this app is. I would love postpartum tracking.
